Sydney based criminal lawyers, AC Law Group support South Sydney Herald

Australian Criminal Law Group and the South Sydney Herald (SSH), a South Sydney monthly independent newspaper, announced a new sponsorship deal today that supports the continued circulation of the paper and reporting of local areas news to residents of the Inner West and Southern suburbs of Sydney.

For Australian Criminal Law Group the newspaper is something close to the group’s heart.  Managing partner Joseph Correy had a close relationship with Trevor Davis, the newspaper’s first editor, and says the sponsorship is in his memory.

“Having grown up in Redfern where the newspaper originated, I have a deep-rooted connection to the area” said Joseph Correy.   “First starting my career in journalism, Trevor Davis was like a mentor to me and so I was compelled to support the publication in his memory”.

The sponsorship deal is just one example of the many grass roots programs and social justice issues that theSydney based law firm supports.

“This is a great opportunity for us to support the reporting of real issues of concern and interest impacting the residents of the Inner West and South Sydney”  Said Correy.
