Criminal lawyers Joseph Correy and Deng Adut continued to appear in a murder trial at the Supreme Court this week where the Crown and defence experts gave evidence over 5 days.
Meanwhile, in the district court, criminal lawyer Michael Djurichkovic appeared in a complex sex trial where the third complainant is being cross-examined. Also in the district court, criminal lawyer Joseph Harb obtained a section 10, no conviction, for a client charged with supplying cocaine and dealing in proceeds of crime as part of a ‘dial a dealer’ syndicate.
Criminal lawyer Steven Mercael, in a severity appeal to the District Court, obtained a section 10, no conviction, for a client charged with the trifecta of assaulting and resisting police, while behaving offensively. Mr Mercael also showed his legal skills when it comes to domestic violence and mental health matters by obtaining a section 32, no conviction, for a client charged with assaulting his son with a dumbbell.
The above are just some of what our criminal lawyers have done to help our clients this week.
