AC Law Group is seeking two PLT students to assist our law firm in 2017. We have offices in Sydney, Parramatta, Blacktown and Redfern; however, the PLT students will spend most of their time in our western Sydney offices.
We are a firm that specializes in criminal law and we are only interested in PLT students who aspire to be criminal lawyers. We are not interested in students simply looking for a placement or who do not understand the value of hard work. We are not looking for a body to occupy space but rather a smart and ambitious personality that will fit in with the culture at the firm, which has a social justice emphasis on account of our partners, which include current NSW Australian of the Year Deng Adut.

The position is unpaid; however, three prior PLT students have obtained employment with us so we are not exploitative like some other firms.
The position is 3 days per week. PLT students will be exposed to all areas of the law, including trials, sentences and appeals. Students will have an opportunity to appear in court for mentions. Students will also assist with drafting, research and conferences. There will be some admin but nothing unreasonable.
