Weekly round up – 14.12.20 – No gaol for firearms

The past week has seen our criminal lawyers get some incredible results.

On Friday, criminal lawyer Joseph Correy appeared at Gosford District Court and had his client’s time in residential rehabilitation taken into account on sentence to stop the client from being sentenced to gaol. The charges were 4 counts of supplying firearms including a prohibited pistol.

On Monday, criminal lawyer Steven Mercael obtained a community correction order (good behaviour bond) for a client charged with acquiring a glock pistol off the dark web.

Meanwhile criminal lawyer Joseph Harb negotiated a deal for a client charged with 5 armed robberies with a gun. He got all the armed robberies withdrawn and his client pleaded guilty to two robberies (without the mention of a gun!).
